At present, the economic backdrop to renewable energy is characterised by three megatrends:
- Sharp rises in the prices for conventional energy
- Growing uncertainties with regard to supply, especially in the case of energy from fossil fuels
- The climate change discussion and global warming
Within this context, it is the declared objective of Solarenergy 4U to transfer a sizeable share of energy supply to "heat from the sun".
